Dr Farzaneh RastegarGeneral Practitioner
I graduated in 2004 from one of Iran’s universities, having completed a Medical degree. After a period of time working in both rural and metropolitan areas in Iran I immigrated to Australia in 2009 where I began work at Peninsula Health. I took over the practice in Pearcedale in 2013. My areas of interest are chronic diseases, geriatrics, women’s health and minor surgical procedures. When I am not looking after Ryan and Ariana, I enjoy painting and playing tennis.
Dr Pejman HajbabaieGeneral Practitioner
I graduated with Medical Doctorate degree from Iran in 2003 then I worked as general practitioner for 6 years until I arrived in Australia in 2009 where I began work at Peninsula Health. In 2012 I start working in general practice.
My main areas of interest are skin cancer and dermatology, minor surgery and internal medicine.
I enjoy cross-fit, watching movies and playing video games.
Of course I also enjoy spending time with my wife, Farza and my 2 beautiful children.
Dr Mehdi EbrahimiGeneral Practitioner
I graduated from Shiraz Medical School, Iran in 2008, After working in general practice for over three years I immigrated to Australia in 2010 where I worked in emergency medicine at Hawkesbury Hospital Emergency Department. I moved to Melbourne in 2012 and took the opportunity of working with the team at Pearcedale Medical Centre. My areas of interest are sports injuries and paediatrics. When I am not working I enjoy playing basketball, running and playing FIFA on PS4.
Dr Stephanie CurranGeneral Practitioner
I graduated with my Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery from Monash University in 2008.
Since then I have worked in many different hospital settings including Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, Emergency Medicine and Palliative care and subsequently went on to complete my General Practice Training with Victorian Metropolitan Alliance.
Having come from Country Victoria originally, I really enjoy working in a community minded practice and have special interests in child and adolescent health, women’s health, palliative medicine and family general practice.
Away from work I enjoy spending as much time as I can with my family, and love to keep active by playing netball.
Dr Nadiya SolodunenkoGeneral Practitioner
I completed internship at the Monash Health, Melbourne, and worked at various departments in the Dandenong and Casey Hospitals.
I was trained as a General Practitioner while working in a rural GP clinic and the local hospital at Benalla, the countryside town in Victoria.
Most recently, I worked as a GP in Langwarrin for more than 3 years.
I have a special interest in women’s health, paediatrics, chronic disease management and preventative medicine. I enjoys the variety of general practice and the continuous learning that I acquire practicing as a GP.
In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, gardening and spending time with my family.
Dr Payal Igoor ChandrashekarGeneral Practitioner
I graduated from Jawaharlal Medical College in India and qualified as a general practitioner in 2010. I spent the first year of my medical career working as a busy GP in Scotland and North of England. After moving to Melbourne in July 2011 she has been working in busy practices at Hoppers crossing and Langwarrin as well as worked in regional towns in NSW.
My special interests are in women’s health, mental health, palliative care and aged care.
I love spending time with my family and partaking in outdoor activities such as adventure sports and trekking. When I can find the time I also enjoy nothing more than finding a spot in the sun and losing myself in novel.

Dr Melanie LamdenGeneral Practitioner
I began my medical career in 2005 as an intern at Austin Health in Melbourne. I was then a medical resident at Southern Health with rotations including Oncology, Geriatric Medicine, Gastroenterology, Paediatric Emergency and General Medicine. In 2008 I commenced work as a General Resident at Southern Health with rotations including Obstetrics and Gynecology, Psychiatry, Geriatrics and Intensive Care.
Special interests are palliative care, mental health, chronic disease management, aged care and geriatric medicine.
When she is not at work, she enjoys travelling and spending quality time with her son.

Dr Sophie LiGeneral Practitioner
I gained my medical degree from Kunming Medical University in China with my initial medical career starting in Emergency Medicine for 6 years prior to migrating to Australia.
Throughout my career I have worked in general practice clinics as well as aged care facilities. I am passionate about my career and aim to achieve a dedicated, service-focused professional approach.
In my spare time I enjoy watercolor painting and practice mindful meditation.
My special interests are palliative care, mental health, chronic disease management, chronic pain management, aged care, cardiovascular disease and diabetes management.

I immigrated from England in 2003 after working both privately and for the publicly funded National Health Service. I have a special interests in Diabetic foot health and also treatment of musculoskeletal disorders of lower limb. I enjoy cricket, swimming and spending time with my family.

Maddy graduated from La Trobe University Melbourne with a Bachelor in Health Science and Masters of Physiotherapy in 2014. Since then she has spent her time working in private practices around the Frankston area. Maddy has completed additional training in the areas of dry needling, Clinical Pilates, chronic pain and sporting injuries.
Her special areas of interest include lower back pain, shoulder pain and neurological pain and she is very passionate about ensuring all treatments are patient specific as she understands everyone’s bodies and lives are very different!
Outside work she spend my time training CrossFit, travelling to snowy places to ski and has recently been studying Japanese!
Sara SafariSport Physician

Sara has been practicing medicine since 2004. Sara’s interest in surgery led to training as a surgical registrar, before focusing on sport medicine.
She gained experience in surgical and orthopaedic fields and completed a post-graduate Diploma in Surgical Anatomy from Melbourne University. Her interest in sports medicine led to study and achieve Master of Sports Medicine From University of Queensland.
She performs PRP (Plasma Rich Platelet) injections for various musculoskeletal injuries and problems when required. She also performs PRP for other medical conditions such as mild to moderate urinary incontinence in females, lichen sclerosis, and improving sexual performance following related referral.
Cass SwaneyPractice Manager
I have worked in the medical industry for over 10 years with experience in Radiology, Radiation Oncology and General Practice. Since starting at Pearcedale Medical, I have loved working in a family orientated environment and building close relationships with our patients and the community.
I joined Pearcedale Medical Centre not long after completing year 12 in 2015. I am new to the medical administration field and am thoroughly enjoying it, I also enjoy keeping fit and healthy and spending quality time with friends and family.
I have worked in reception for the past 10 years. A few years ago I decided to make the change to medical reception. I enjoy the fast paced/diverse nature of working in general practice and building rapport with the patients. In my spare time I like to travel and go camping with my family.
I have worked as a medical Receptionist for over 20 years. When I am not at work or looking after my grandson, I enjoy travelling, especially to Japan. In my spare time I like to patchwork and catching up with friends and family.
I have been working in Medical Reception/Administration for the past 20 years. I enjoy working as part of a dedicated team and take pride in meeting the needs of patients who attend the clinic. I live locally and love spending time with my friends and family, going to horse shows, and sprintcar racing.
I have worked in the Health Industry for over 20 years, including general practice. When I am not travelling I enjoy spending time with my two adult children and two grandchildren and socialising with friends.
I have recently joined the team at Pearcedale Medical Centre and I’m already building a great rapport with our lovely patients. I am a registered EEN and I love all aspects of nursing. In my spare time I love spending time with my daughter and grandchildren, gardening and travelling.
I completed my Diploma of Nursing in 2011 and since then I have been fortunate enough to work in many different areas of nursing before joining the amazing team at Pearcedale Medical Centre in late 2018.
When I’m not working I am usually renovating my house, keeping active or spending time with my husband, family and friends.
